Evidence Before Confidence
Findings distinguish what has been verified, what remains unresolved, and what requires further examination.
For foreign investors · About FIN
FIN operates as your independent, in-country investment office in Tanzania. We verify what is real, protect your decision interests, and coordinate local execution before capital, time, and reputation are committed.
Our Purpose
We exist so that when foreign decision-makers commit capital in Tanzania, their recommendations are grounded in verified ground truth and supported by a disciplined, accountable local presence.
Why FIN Exists
Foreign investors rarely suffer from a lack of Tanzanian opportunities. They suffer from a shortage of independent, decision-grade local visibility: the gap between what an opportunity appears to be from abroad and what is workable on the ground.
We do not ask you to rely on an opportunity's own story. We establish an independent local view, separate confirmed facts from unresolved questions, and help make the decision defensible to your board, principal, or investment committee.
Our Boundaries
FIN is engaged to represent the foreign investor's decision interests. Independence begins with clarity about what FIN is, what FIN is not, and where specialist advisers remain essential.
An independent local extension of your team in Tanzania.
Testing assumptions, separating confirmed facts from unresolved questions, and surfacing material concerns early.
Aligning relevant local specialists and maintaining visibility as approved intent moves into action.
Combining physical validation, documentary evidence and context-rich local interpretation.
We do not manage investor capital or position ourselves as the principal in the transaction.
We do not sell political access or substitute introductions for evidence.
We complement specialist workstreams without replacing regulated legal, tax, accounting or technical advice.
Desktop research can inform the question. It does not replace verification of what is actually true on the ground.
How We Think
Findings distinguish what has been verified, what remains unresolved, and what requires further examination.
Clear, structured reporting that a principal or investment committee can evaluate and repeat.
Disciplined interpretation of what the evidence means, without transaction hype or fear-based selling.
We understand Tanzanian operating reality while keeping the investor's decision interests central.
Findings are judged by their effect on capital exposure, timing, execution, and decision defensibility.
Founder
Founder · Principal
Princess Kimaro founded FIN around a simple problem: foreign investors can have access to extensive information about an opportunity in Tanzania and still lack an independent view of what is actually true on the ground.
Her work sits between the investor's decision and the local operating environment, bringing together research, verification, local intelligence and execution coordination so that consequential decisions are not made from presentation alone.
Through FIN, she is building an in-country investment office designed around one responsibility: reduce uncertainty before capital is committed.
The Operating Model
FIN is deliberately built around the mandate rather than a fixed bench of generalists.
The core office owns the investor relationship, verification process, decision visibility and coordination. Where a mandate requires specialist capability, FIN coordinates the appropriate technical, legal, commercial, sector or field expertise around the specific question being examined.
This allows the investor to maintain one coherent line of sight while specialist work remains specialist.

Sector Focus
Mining, energy, and infrastructure are sectors where significant capital, physical operating conditions, regulatory interfaces, multiple counterparties, and execution dependencies make independent ground validation especially important.
A structured approach to testing physical conditions, documentation, counterparties and material operating assumptions.
Information is handled with the seriousness expected when principals and institutions are evaluating consequential matters.
Where the mandate requires it, FIN can remain an independent source of local visibility as a decision moves into execution.
Tanzania
Bring independent local visibility to your next Tanzania investment decision before capital, time, and reputation are committed.
